- No. Every Christian business in the region can be on the Basic free tier. Plus adds photos, hours and links, and we also offer website design and advertising if you want to grow.
- How is this different from Google Maps or Yelp?
- Local Church readers are Christians actively looking to support faith-based businesses in their area. The directory sits next to a regional Christian events calendar — your listing gets seen by people already engaged with their local church community.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Cancel any month and we'll bill nothing for the next. Your listing reverts to the free Basic tier so you stay listed.
- Where does this revenue go?
- Paid listings, website and advertising revenue covers Local Church's operating costs (hosting, scraping infrastructure, email sends) and pays the small editorial team that keeps the directory accurate.
- How do I switch tiers?
- Self-serve: open the manage link from your confirmation email and click Manage billing. Plan changes prorate automatically — you're billed only the difference for the remaining time in the current period.
